BigXthaPlug’s attorney pledged to fight misdemeanor gun and drug charges after the rapper’s album release party was abruptly canceled following his arrest in Dallas.

Dallas rapper and hip-hop star BigXthaPlug is facing more legal trouble after being arrested Thursday night ahead of his new album release on Friday.BigXthaPlug, born Xavier Landum, was released from the Dallas County Jail late Friday afternoon on drug and weapons charges.

BigXthaPlug was arrested in the early morning hours of Friday, Aug. 22, hours after the release of his latest studio album 'I Hope You're Happy,' and booked on charges of marijuana possession and unlawful possession of a firearm.
