Damian Lillard and Jrue Holiday are both with Portland now after being in the massive Blazers-Bucks trade two years ago.

Portland also bought out starting center Deandre Ayton, who signed with the Los Angeles Lakers as a free agent. The Trail Blazers still boast two movable veteran contracts in the deals of forward Jerami Grant and center Robert Williams, and could theoretically add younger players who better align with the club's timeline.

ESPN’s Shams Charania on Thursday reported the nine-time All-Star point guard was rejoining the Portland Trail Blazers on a three-year, $42 million contract. Lillard spent his first 11 NBA seasons in Portland before playing the last two in Milwaukee.
