Tesla has announced a recall of 2,400 Cybertruck pickups in the US due to a faulty driver inverter, marking the sixth recall for the model this year. The identified fault could potentially lead to a loss of power, posing an increased risk of a crash.

The recall is the sixth this year for the vehicles. Last month, the EV maker said it would recall more than 27,000 Cybertrucks in the United States due to delayed rear-view camera images that could impair driver visibility and increase crash risks.

The automaker has recalled the pickup truck for issues with accelerator pedals, malfunctioning windshield wipers and more.
