U.S. Postmaster General Louis DeJoy told Congress he signed an agreement with DOGE to provide assistance to address "big problems."

DOGE will assist USPS with addressing “big problems” at the $78 billion-a-year agency, which has sometimes struggled in recent years to stay afloat.

Arizona had more than 8,000 USPS employees earning average salaries of about $55,000 to $62,000 depending on the job, according to May 2023 estimates.
