SHELBY COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - On Thursday night, a second earthquake was reported by the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The quake’s magnitude was 2.6, and a depth of 5 km, or about 3.1 miles. It happened at 8:02 p.m. according to the USGS.

The epicenter of the 7.5-magnitude quake was in the Drake Passage, a body of water between the southernmost tip of South America and Antarctica.
