Thunderstorms early Saturday morning could be strong or severe with gusty winds. Widespread winds of 45-55 mph are then likely during the daytime hours Saturday.

We will fine tune the timing of the rain as the system gets closer. As of Thursday, it looks like the rain will arrive in the western counties of the First Coast early Sunday morning, before progressing eastward toward and through the Jacksonville Metro Area after lunchtime and into the afternoon and evening hours.
