Jireh Edwards, a class of 2026 5-star safety out of Baltimore's St. Frances Academy, has chosen to play college football at Alabama, per comments made to Hayes Fawcett of Rivals and On3.

Five-star safety Jireh Edwards, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound defender from Baltimore and the No. 23 player in the 2026 ESPN 300, became the top-ranked member of Alabama's latest recruiting class when he announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide on Saturday.

Kalen DeBoer and Alabama picked up another massive recruit in the 2026 class. Five-star Jireh Edwards chose Alabama over Auburn and Georgia.
