Scheffler's 63 round on Sunday tied the 72-hole low mark first set by Justin Thomas at the 2017 Sony Open and again by Ludvig Aberg at the 2023 RSM Classic. Scheffler notched four straight birdies and capped his round off with a 20-foot eagle on the par five ninth hole.

After hitting a total of 253 shots over the four day Byron Nelson golf tournament outside Dallas over the weekend, Scottie Scheffler tied a PGA tour record for the lowest number of strokes across four rounds.
