By Martyn Herman LONDON (Reuters) -Top seed Jannik Sinner ensured Novak Djokovic will be absent from a Wimbledon men's singles final for the first time in eight years after handing the Serbian great a brutal Centre Court battering on Friday.

Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz are the last men standing in the Wimbledon final, revving up for another edition of their growing rivalry on the biggest stage in the sport.

Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz produced his best performance of the tournament so far to beat Cameron Norrie in straight sets and book his place in the semi-finals.
