Trey Hendrickson’s contract situation continues to hover over the opening of Bengals training camp. As the situation lingers, owner Mike Brown struck an optimistic tone when asked about Hendrickson on Monday.

Brown told reporters, " I think it'll get done ," in regards to a new deal for Hendrickson. Brown doubled down, saying the team was not looking to trade Hendrickson and is "working on getting [a deal] done."
Hendrickson said in May he will not suit up under his current deal, which is set to pay him a $15.8 million base salary in 2025. The Bengals came to the table with several offers to last season's NFL sack leader, including one over the weekend according to the NFL Network, but nothing materialized.
