Officials have determined the cause of a crash involving an F-35A Lightning II aircraft on Eielson Air Force Base on Jan. 28.

An Air Force F-35 fighter jet crashed at Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska as the pilot ejected safely, officials said. The aircraft incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon at approximately 12:49 p.m.
