Sixteen high school football teams in Massachusetts are looking to become a state champion at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro.

Bryant (12-0) is coming off a thrilling semifinal win, surviving a shootout with Rogers in a 50-43 victory. Bentonville (12-0) also prevailed in a thriller, getting past Conway 26-21. Bryant is looking for a state championship repeat, while Bentonville is seeking its sixth state title.

Aidan Grella’s 24-yard field goal as time expired sealed a 31-28 semifinal victory for Bishop McDevitt last week over Peters Township. There was much less drama for Roman Catholic, which cruised past Springfield-Delco 48-20.
