Traditionally, the White House hosts the outgoing and incoming first ladies in a meeting over tea to signal the transition from one administration to the next;

First lady Jill Biden had a lot to say in what is likely her last interview before she and her husband, President Joe Biden, leave the White House on January 20 and some of it was about her predecessor and successor Melania Trump.

It’s customary for the current first couple to invite the soon-to-be leaders into the White House for a chat. President-elect Donald Trump took the Bidens up on it, while Melania did not.
