Middletown secured its first playoff win since 2019 last week against Eastern York and now get set to face West York in Friday's quarterfinal matchup.

It’s been more than a century since Middletown and Lebanon last met on the football field. That long gap in history comes to an end Friday night under the lights of Barnitz Stadium. For the first time since 1912, the Middies and the Warriors will square off in a Division I, Region 2 quarterfinal on Friday.

Quarterback Joseph Ward threw for 212 yards and two touchdowns in his return to the lineup, C.J. Bryant delivered a 95-yard interception return for a score, and Middletown’s defense completely suffocated Lebanon to record its third shutout of the season.
