Lehigh's Goodman Campus will be the location of the National Prep Race to offer the Lehigh Valley an opportunity to participate in a modified version of a traditional mud run.

PORT TOWNSEND — The Jeff Co 4x4 Club will offer a full weekend of mud racing action at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, 4907 Landes St., on Saturday and Sunday.

Filled with custom vehicle projects and challenging mud courses, the series explores the complex social dynamics, deep-rooted rivalries, and the uproarious social scene of mud racing.

Registration is open on the fairground website. The race will take place at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Grand Forks Fairgrounds.
