It wasn't covered under warranty, and Toyota hasn't replaced the allegedly defective motor with a new one. The powertrain warranty coverage is for 60 months or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
"American Honda expects a very small number of vehicles will require wheel(s) replacement," a notice to Honda dealers said.
