Michael Jones, known to professional wrestling fans as Virgil, the dour bodyguard of WWE star “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, died Wednesday. He was 61.
Following the death of Michael "Virgil" Jones yesterday, Ted DiBiase appeared on "Busted Open Radio" to reflect on the late wrestler's career.
WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase spoke about his feud with the late Virgil, and what he wishes was different in the storyline that happened three decades ago.
Jones first made appearances in WWE in 1986 as Lucius Brown before appearing the following year as Virgil, the bodyguard/valet for the “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase.
“I was really sad to hear that," DiBiase said. "Mike Jones is Virgil’s real name or was Virgil’s real name. We met in the WWE office when this whole thing with the Million Dollar Man started.
