Tillamook is undergoing a $38.2 million revitalization project designed to make its city center as appealing to locals and tourists as the famed cheese factory nearby.

The Tillamook Cheese Factory operates on Highway 101, just north of the city of Tillamook. In 2001, the cooperative opened a new plant at the Port of Morrow in Boardman, Ore.
