Toys R Us is expanding ahead of the holiday season with new flagship stores and seasonal holiday shops across the U.S.

Toys “R” Us is moving into Jordan Creek Mall and leaders say an opening date is near. Back in 2017 the wildly popular toy company declared bankruptcy. Now, almost ten years later, the company is looking to make a comeback.

Seven new flagship stores, including a location at Tanger Outlets Deer Park, and more than a dozen seasonal holiday shops will be opening.

A popular toy store is opening a new location in Anne Arundel County. The chain previously closed all of its stand-alone shops.

Toys R Us is expanding with 20 seasonal pop-up stores nationwide, including a new New Jersey location at Deptford Mall.

After filing for bankruptcy in 2017, the toy store Toys R Us has made several attempts to reestablish its retail presence.
