The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development has awarded $468,255 in grants for commercial driver license training to get 260 drivers on the road.

The college on Thursday held a ribbon cutting and open house to dedicate a 7,500-square-foot expansion of its Regional Transportation Training Center at 6433 Hammond Ave.

More Ohioans are waiting until they are an adult to get their driver's license, meaning they can avoid driver's education training.
