Samoa Joe submitted Eddie Kingston in the main event of "AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming" to retain the AEW World Championship.

Whereas Kingston spent years toiling away on the independent circuit, Joe was its undisputed king. His 645-day reign as Ring of Honor World Champion is still the longest single reign in the title’s storied history, conquering the likes of Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels and both Briscoe brothers.

The AEW World Champion, Samoa Joe could be attacked by a mysterious man at the Worlds End 2025 pay-per-view. The attack could take place after Joe successfully defends his world title.

Programming Insider reports that AEW Dynamite on December 10th, drew 516,000 viewers on TBS. This number is up from the 496,000 viewers the show drew last Wednesday. Wednesday’s episode scored a 0.09 demo rating, which is the same as last Wednesday’s rating.
