Columbus Blue Jackets fans serenaded Johnny Gaudreau's son with 'Happy Birthday' on his one-year bday as the late NHL star's wife Meredith emotionally watched.

Hockey fans sang a special "Happy Birthday" sing-along for a little boy's first birthday. The chubby-cheeked baby is Johnny Gaudreau Junior, the son of Columbus Blue Jackets star Johnny Gaudreau.

In addition to Meredith and their children, Johnny is survived by the brothers’ parents and their two sisters. Matthew is also survived by his wife, Madeline Gaudreau, and their infant son, Tripp. Madeline also shared a birthday tribute to her young nephew on Saturday.

Blue Jackets hockey returned after a two-week break as fans saw a dominant win and played part in a touching moment for the Gaudreau family. Columbus came back from its break with a vengeance as they blew past the Chicago Blackhawks 5-1 at Nationwide Arena on Saturday night.
