PHOENIX — The suspect in a stabbing that left a student dead at Maryvale High School in west Phoenix is in custody, Phoenix police say. Phoenix police officers responded to a stabbing call at Maryvale High School before 11 a.m.

New details show that the Department of Child Safety received calls dating back years over abuse of an Arizona girl, leading up to her death. Amy Cutler reports

Chris Aguilar was given a $500,000 cash-only bond. Phoenix officers responded to the west Phoenix school at about 10:54 a.m. after receiving a call about a stabbing and found a boy with multiple stab wounds,

Two students were involved in a stabbing at Maryvale High School, resulting in one death and another in custody.

Maryvale High School in west Phoenix is currently under lockdown after an incident in a classroom that injured a student.

Maryvale co-head coaches Marcus and Mark Carter have received support from coaches all over the Valley following school tragedy.
