Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble won't play against the Steelers on Thursday night, but he's on track to play in Week 1 of the regular season.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Bucs would be taking wide receiver Chris Godwin Jr. off the Physically Unable to Perform list, allowing him to be on the 53-man roster to start the season. Schefter explained the Bucs' move,

Sneed passed his physical and is cleared to return to practice. It's been a long process for the sixth-year defensive back who injured his quad last season during a Week 5 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The injury, initially diagnosed as a bruise, was later found to be a strain and required more rest than initially anticipated.

The New York Giants activated offensive lineman Andrew Thomas off of the physically unable to perform (PUP) list Tuesday, allowing their franchise left tackle to return to practice for the first time in almost a year. Thomas has been sidelined since Oct. 15, when he underwent surgery to repair a Lisfranc injury in his foot.

The Dolphins are going to begin working new tight end Darren Waller into the mix after activating him from the PUP list.

MIAMI GARDENS — The Miami Dolphins will finally get a look at tight end Darren Waller. The Dolphins have activated Waller off the physically unable to perform list. The move does not come as a surprise. Coach Mike McDaniel said he expected Waller to begin practicing with the team "sooner rather than later."

Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin is off the physically unable to perform list, but he's not going to be back on the practice field just yet.
