The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) has identified the three detectives who were killed in an explosion at a training facility on July 18 as Joshua Kelley-Eklund, Victor Lemus and William Osborn.

Eklund, Victor Lemus and William Osborn were killed in an explosion Friday. They collectively held 74 years of law enforcement experience and leave behind 16 children among them.

Lemus is survived by his wife, LASD Detective Nancy Lemus, and three daughters. He has three sisters who are also in the department. He is also survived by his brothers Alfredo, Pedro, Juan, and Efren and brother-in-law Sgt. Robert Catalan, who is assigned to the LASD’s Carson station.
