President Donald Trump welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the White House for a high-stakes meeting as the U.S. president pushed for a deal to end Moscow's war on its neighbor. A host of European leaders joined the pair.

U.S.-NATO MEETING: U.S. and NATO military officials will meet today to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine as the White House works to arrange a summit between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The administration accused the official, Lisa Cook, of mortgage fraud and said it would refer the matter for criminal investigation.

Trump held a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday in Alaska at which the US president aligned himself with Putin by backing off his demand for a ceasefire amid peace-talk negotiations.
