The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee will have a hearing on Wednesday morning to hold four of the country’s most powerful mayors “publicly accountable” for their “sanctuary city” policies.

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu testified during a six-hour House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform hearing Wednesday on the city's immigration policy.

The mayor was joined by three other Democratic mayors as witnesses at a U.S. House Oversight Committee hearing Wednesday morning.

The mayors of four so-called “sanctuary cities” faced tough questions from lawmakers about their policies toward immigrants and how they work with Immigration and Customs Enforcement at a House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on Wednesday.
