A Rockford officer shot and killed two pit bulls who attacked his K-9 Tuesday night, while attempting to arrest three teens who ran from police during a traffic stop.
Roam, the Colorado Springs police K9, who was stabbed in October during an arrest, is making a recovery after surgery and having a leg amputated.
