Re-signed The LA Galaxy have re-signed defender Maya Yoshida to a two-year contract through 2026, the reigning MLS Cup presented by Audi champions announced Saturday.

The Galaxy re-signed captain Maya Yoshida, fulfilling a major task of the team's offseason after winning the MLS Cup title. The team has 10 of 11 starters back.

The LA Galaxy announced the signing of free-agent goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski in a strategic move to bolster their roster for the 2025 season. At 27, Marcinkowski joins on a contract through 2026, with an option for 2027.

The LA Galaxy said Saturday they have re-signed Japanese defender Maya Yoshida to a two-year contract through the end of the 2026 Major League Soccer season. The 36-year-old captain's contract expired at the end of the 2024 season after he contributed to Los Angeles' sixth MLS Cup title and first in 10 years.
