The man accused of starting the deadly Palisades Fire in Los Angeles earlier this year, has been transferred from Florida to California.

Rinderknecht was arrested at his Florida home and extradited to the Golden State after a federal grand jury in Los Angeles indicted him with arson affecting property used in interstate commerce, destruction of property by means of fire and a count of timber set afire.

The reforms expand grants for fireproofing homes, require higher advance payments after wildfires, and give the state’s last-resort insurance plan more financial stability.

Rinderknecht was initially arrested and held in the Seminole County Jail. He was then moved to Oklahoma on Wednesday and finally to California.
