SHELLEY — Idaho Spud Days is closing in on the century mark, with the 96th edition of the celebration of Idaho potatoes just around the corner.

According to SB Nation, the dancing spud is the mascot for the bowl game but also represents the Idaho Potato Commission, the organization that sponsors the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

SHELLEY — The Idaho Annual Spud Day returns to Shelley this Saturday, Sept. 16, with a day full of potato-themed activities planned starting at 7 a.m.
