Type "sign" in the Search for Templates box and press "Enter" or click on the "Signs" option under More Templates. Select the sign template that most resembles the sign you want to make.

Once you create a template, you can use it over and over. Remember that while you open a template to start a project, you save the project as another file type, such as the basic .docx Word format ...

Click "Create" and create a new document to use as your template. Close the document tab when you have finished adding content or editing to return to the main Google Docs screen.
