Rapper Nicki Minaj and journalist Don Lemon are embroiled in a heated public spat. Minaj, a vocal Trump supporter, used homophobic slurs against Lemon, who is openly gay. Lemon retaliated, calling Minaj ignorant and out of her depth.

Following Lemon's response video, Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon appeared on the hard-right podcast 'The Benny Show' and declared that the Justice Department "will pursue charges" against Lemon.
