HUNTR/X’s “Golden,” from the hit film 'KPop Demon Hunters,' slays in its first week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The soundtrack's standout track becomes the first single by an all-women collective in 24 years to top the chart, following Destiny's Child in 2001.

According to Billboard, "Golden" is the first IRL Hot 100 No. 1 by any act with a fictional background, following "We Don't Talk About Bruno" of the Disney animated film Encanto in 2022. Billboard said "Golden" is also the ninth song associated with K-pop to top the Hot 100, and the first by female lead vocalists.
