Jonquel Jones paced five double-figure scorers with 22 points and she grabbed 10 rebounds. Sabrina Ionescu became the Liberty’s third all-time leading scorer en route to 17 points — including a four-point play in that last minute — and she also made it a double-double with 11 assists. Courtney Williams scored 17 for the Lynx.

With less than 40 seconds to play, the Liberty were clinging to a four-point lead as they tried to get their first win over the Lynx this season. As the shot clock wound down, Ionescu controlled the ball near midcourt and called for a screen from Kennedy Burke.
