Mayor Dinah Tatman of Bellefontaine Neighbors resigned Thursday, according to pro tem Mayor James Thomas. A meeting was held Thursday afternoon where Thomas told First Alert 4 Tatman wrote a second resignation letter and has turned in her key card and cell phone.

It was just the latest escalation in years of political infighting and gridlock in Bellefontaine Neighbors, a historic North County suburb of 10,350, that has left the city with an outdated budget and several key positions,
