Jillian Lauren, a bestselling author and the wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner, was involved in a police shooting in Los Angeles on April 8, 2025.

Police released excerpts of body camera recordings, surveillance video and audio of 911 dispatch conversations from the incident.

Now, the LAPD has shed some further light on the incident, releasing body cam footage and security camera video that both shows police officers converging on what became a small stand-off, as well as Lauren holding a gun while walking around her backyard,
