Skyrim is, I’ve always held its predecessor, Oblivion, closer to my heart. The 2006 open world action RPG has been the reason for many a late night in the past, and so the shadowdrop of a remaster was a very welcome surprise indeed.

"It was the best-selling game of the week."

For those that don’t know, The Elder Scrolls: IV Oblivion is set in Cyrodiil, which borders Skyrim, the setting of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Hence why you can see The Throat of the World at the edge of the Oblivion Remastered map, assuming you can climb high enough.
