Australia international Georgia Voll will replace Chamari Athapaththu at UP Warriorz for the remainder of the WPL. Athapaththu is linking up with the Sri Lanka national team ahead of their white-ball series against New Zealand.

UP Warriorz have signed Georgia Voll to replace Chamari Athapaththu for the remaining Women's Premier League 2025 matches. Voll, an Australian top-order batter, has shown impressive form with a century in her second ODI.

UP Warriorz desperately needed a big-hitting overseas option with Indian youngsters not being able to give that at the top of the order after Alyssa Healy was ruled out of the tournament. The Warriorz still have three home games left to make amends in WPL 2025 and push for a top-three spot.

The UP Warriorz (UPW) have signed Australian cricketer Georgia Voll as a replacement for Chamari Athapaththu in the ongoing Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025. Athapaththu has left the tournament to join her national duties with Sri Lanka, ahead of their New Zealand tour starting March 4. UP Warriorz acquired Voll for a price of ₹30 lakh.
