I've used the MX keyboard and mouse with the usb receiver for years and like most people have encountered the stuttering and lags due to an issue with the 2.4ghz receiver and being close to other connections. I fixed that by putting it on a extension cable so it was farther away from everything and it seemed to help.

May 22, 2023 · I did find that the Microsoft Modern Mobile Mouse worked well, as does the Microsoft Ergonomic Mouse. I seem to have less of an issue with my M1 Pro 14" MBP than I did with my original M1 MBA, so I'm wondering if the original M1 system-on-chip was to blame. Otherwise, you should get smooth performance out of the Logitech (proprietary) RF dongle.

For example, the "for mac version" is the same mouse without the receiver, and costs the same as the version with the receiver. It's the silliest thing, I hope it's not Logitech testing out selling their mice without the receiver.

This mouse has always worked so long as I do not install Logitech Options, providing normal left and right button clicks, scrolling but, obviously, the back and forward buttons do nothing and other special keys are inactive.
