Homeward Bound - Simon & Garfunkel @ 1967 Monterey Pop Festival. Paul Simon resided in Brentwood, Essex, England when he penned "Homeward Bound." During a trip back from Wigan, where he was performing, he became stranded at the train station and wrote the song. It possesses a dual meaning: literally desiring a ticket home to Brentwood, yet also yearning to return to his home in the US. | Paul B. Leonor
