Alright we aren’t really trying to fire our awesome Front Desk team! But their role is certainly changing! Back in the day you HAD to check in at the desk to give payment, sign documents, get room keys, etc. Now all that can be done before you even enter the hotel. So instead of our team doing admin paper work, they can focus on ensuring our guests have a wonderful stay! Of course, we can still do it the old school way. But even if only a few arrivals check-in online, it frees up our team’s time
