Miami-Dade Police uncovered more than $24 million in cash during a raid at a suspect’s home in Miami Lakes, Florida, marking one of the largest cash seizures in the department’s history. Acting on a search warrant tied to a long-running marijuana trafficking and money-laundering investigation, officers discovered bundles of mostly $100 bills vacuum-sealed and hidden inside five-gallon barrels, along with other sealed containers concealed behind walls and inside a secret attic compartment.
