This evening, the HRBT Expansion Project will reach another major milestone with the opening of the new North Trestle. Motorists traveling from Hampton to Norfolk will be diverted onto the newly constructed eastbound trestle at the Hampton shoreline and feed back into the existing eastbound tunnel. Motorists are encouraged to adhere to posted speed limits, drive distraction-free and remain attentive to digital message signs along the corridor.
