So happy that the flood didn’t come 🙏 , yesterday we went to check on Bruce and she was at the nest site adding some more compost to the nest. ❤️ No where else among reptiles is parental care so elaborate, which is of course a trait they share with their cousins birds. Infact the parental care given by crocodilians was so uncharacteristic of reptiles, it was long disregarded. It’s a long journey to produce a crocodile, after an elaborate and complex courtship that we still don’t fully understan
